As arabian horse breeders and the new owners of this established and respected Australian Arabian Horse web-site with more than 1.2 million visits per annum, our goals for the site are to give it greater direction, enhance and improve its content whilst creating a special Australian breeding resource.
With the participation of the Arabian Stud Owners and Breeders across Australia this site will become a focal point for our industry that intern, will draw interest from Arabian breeders internationally. This is especially important as Australia is second only to the USA as breeders and owners of Arabian horses therefore, the potential market for our foals and adult horses should be much greater than our current domestic market which, if we are honest, is relatively small. In general, our horses are of excellent quality, free of nearly all the known equine diseases and we have some old and unique bloodlines and a distinct advantage with the value of our dollar on the world stage. Then, why not make the most of our breeding efforts and open a gateway to a potentially much larger market.
The Arabian horse world is looking for quality out cross stallions and mares, this is a great opportunity for Australian breeders, it’s basically up to you. We all have “This Opportunity” to support a web site that will set the standard for everything to do with the quality presentation of Australian Studs and their Australian bred Arabian horses and we believe arabians.com.au is this vehicle. Well, that’s the BIG picture as we see it, the real question you have to ask yourselves is, can you afford not to be a part of it?
The initial phase was completed when the web-site was redesigned and the subsequent public launch of the new arabians.com.au in March at the 2007 National Arabian horse show in Sydney.
Now the aim is to grow the site into the most comprehensive breeding resource for all Australian Arabian horse owner-breeders no matter what their pursuit, be it halter, endurance, racing or just straight pleasure it is all aimed at promoting the most versatile of all horses, the Australian bred Arabian.
If you, as members of this industry have any ideas or features you would like to see added to this site which are in keeping with our overall goals, please send your emails to ideas@arabians.com.au. We look forward to your participation and input.
